OCTOBER
On Friday, October 30th the Crofton Police Department present its 4th annual Trunk-Or-Treat event, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Crofton Village Green. This free community event will be a frightfully fun and festive evening with Trick-or-Treating, decorated police and community vehicles, and spooky decorations. Costumes are encouraged!
NOVEMBER
Beginning on May 9th the Crofton Farmers Market will be held every Saturday from 8:00 AM to noon at the Crofton Library through December 19th. Stop by and get local and regional foods, crafts, and artwork. See Crofton Farmers Market on Facebook for details.
The next CCA Budget Meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 2nd at 7:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church, Crofton. The meeting will include a review of the Overhead, Reserve Funds, and CCA Budgets. All members of the tax district are welcome to attend.
The next CCA Board meeting is scheduled for November 9th at 7:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church, Crofton. It will be combined with the last FY28 Budget meeting. In addition to Board committee reports, the tax rate determination, final review and Board vote of the FY28 budgets will be completed.
On November 7th through 11th, Crofton Kiwanis' Flags for Heroes will be displayed at the front entrance of the community on Route 3 North and Lake Louise.
Town Hall will be closed on Wednesday November 11th for Veteran's Day.
Town Hall will be closed November 26th and 27th for Thanksgiving.
DECEMBER
The CCA Annual Holiday Tree Lighting event is scheduled for December 7th at 6:00 PM, at the Crofton Country Club. Santa will be available for photos. There will be holiday music, hot cocoa and cookies, and make and take crafts for the children. AVFD will be accepting donations.This is a free event.
